Biography

Yost was born in 1765. His father was "Schweitzer" Christian Yoder.

Yost's father, "Schweitzer" Christian Yoder, moved his family west to the "Glades" in what became Somerset County, when Yost was 11 years old.

Yost married Magdalena Rickenbach about 1786. They had five children before his early death at age 27.

Yost passed away in 1792. He is buried at Old Yoder Cemetery in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, USA[1]
