Most likely the Young listed as serving in the Battle of Point Pleasant. He was in Capt William Herbert's Bototourt militia.

Unsourced death given as April 1800 or 1784. SAR gives death as before Jan 1800 in Grayson, Virginia.

Assuming military service found for Ezekiel Young is this person, he was 20 years old in August 1757 and born in England.

Searched the 1790 A/B personal property taxes for Pittsylvania and did not see his name.

Ezekiel was born in 1749. He passed away after 1784. ^[1]
