Biography

Thomas Therron Young was born April 16, 1838 in Alabama. He was the son of Robert Lee Young and Elizabeth Catherine Gamble.[1]

In the 1860 census Thomas (age 22) was living in Prairie, Van Zandt, Texas, United States.[2]

He married Emily Elizabeth Moorhead on September 7, 1865 in Henderson County, Texas.[3]

In the 1880 census Thomas (age 42) was living in Coryell, Texas, United States.[4]

In the 1900 census Thomas (age 62) was living in Justice Precinct 4, Coryell, Texas.[5]

In the 1910 census Thomas (age 71) was living in Justice Precinct 4, Coryell, Texas.[6]

In the 1920 census Thomas (age 81) was living in Justice Precinct 4, Coryell, Texas.[7]

He died, at the age of 84, on May 9, 1922 in Coryell, Texas. He is buried at the Killeen City Cemetery, Killeen, Bell County, Texas.[8]
