Thomas Young was born on August 2, 1846 in Canada West. His parents were Edmond Young and Eleanor Runchey. He married Annie Young on September 23, 1869. Thomas and his wife, Annie Margaret, were first cousins, once removed.[1] They were married in the Methodist Church in Hamilton, Ontario. Together they had 3 children:
Thomas Young died of stomach cancer, according to his great great granddaughter, Brenda Rutherford, who knew Cora. He died on April 25, 1923 in Seneca, Haldimand County.
