Virginia Law after 1705 stated that anyone under 21 must have parental consent to marry, [2] This gives a birth date of after 1767.
Named in her father's will
"Katey Brown" was the eleventh child named in her father's will. She was bequeathed twenty-five pounds "lawful money of Virginia." [3]
"Cathy Brown" was distributed funds from her sister Rachel's estate by court order in August 1841. [4]
