Anna Elizabeth Zeller was born in about 1725 in Tulpehocken Twp. Berks co., Pennsylvania.[1] Elizabeth was the youngest daughter of Johann Heinrich Zeller and Anna Maria Briegal. Her father's family were among the thousands of French and German Protestants who fled religious prosecution in their homeland between 1708 and 1720. The Zellers migrated first to Holland, where her father met and married her mother, then to England, and finally to the American colonies in 1710. They lived for a few years in rural New York (Livingston Manor and Schoharie) before eventually settling in the Tulpehocken Valley in Pennsylvania in 1723 (in what is now Berks County).
Elizabeth married Johann Adam Batdorf in 1745 in Tulpehocken Pennsylvania.[2] They had 7 children.
Adam died in 1757.
She died on January 26, 1803, at the age of 78, in Bethel, Berks co., Pensylvania. Burial place is unknown.[1]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Anna by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Anna:
Zeller-393 and Zeller-155 appear to represent the same person because: Seems an obvious match. I've not yet found a clear source for a birth date for Anna Elizabeth, but we can approximate. There seems to already be a lot of source information for her, and I have some to add. Also working on a source for the proper spelling for Battorf/Batdorf/etc. For the present, however, this seems an obvious match. let me know what you think.
