Powell-16010 and Powell-12151 are not ready to be merged because: Same name and dates - but check of sources to confirm spouse(s), parents, children needed.
I am pretty sure these need to be merged.
Thanks Tom Taroni
Powell-16010 has no profile manager, so I was just being cautious by setting the merge as an Unmerged Match and suggesting final things to check. If you are happy that both profiles represent the same person, then please confirm the merge. The only procedural thing I'm not sure about is whether Denise (the other named manager for Powell-12151) needs to approve as well - the best thing to do is to approve the match yourself and see what happens.
Once the merge is complete it will then be up to you or Denise to tidy up the biography and sources.
Kind regards.
Are you in contact with any Richmonds in the UK, particularly in Wilshire or nearby? I need some Y chromosomes from that area! We have a very strong Y chromosome haplogroup tree for US Richmonds descending from John Richmond (Taunton MA around 1650), but no I-M253 across the Big Pond.
My email is rsrichmond on gmail

When you confirm the merge the system puts the two records together, including any information that is in one profile but not the other. As 4120 is earlier than 4121 the new profile will be Richmond-4120, but no data will be lost.
After you have confirmed the merge you can then go through the new profile and edit out any duplicate biographical information.
Sorry, but I don't have any connection with Richmonds, either in Wiltshire or elsewhere - I just happened to be browsing though the list of Richmonds and spotted your duplicate.
Kind regards, SueCD.

If you come across any Richmonds in Wiltshire or nearby, connect me to them - use my email (rsrichmond on gmail) if you want to.
The only definite Wiltshire connection I found whilst browsing through the Richmond list was James Richmond. Best wishes, SueCD
Thank you for adding your DNA Test information to your profile on WikiTree. Your information will be propagated to the profiles of your parents and your ancestors within about 24 hours of being added. It will also propagate to the profiles of the descendants of your ancestors, so they may see your information under the heading "DNA Connections" just as you can see theirs.
Getting started with DNA outlines how to proceed to use your DNA test information on WikiTree and DNA is a link to a collection of links about WikiTree's many features involving DNA.
The DNA Connections list on your profile will provide a visual way for you to find potential relatives on WikiTree who have also added their DNA test information. Using DNA tools at sites like GEDMatch.com, if you find a relative that matches your DNA sufficiently and you have genealogical sources for the intermediate relationships, you can mark the specific parental relationships back to the most recent ancestor that you both share as "confirmed with DNA." For details, guidance, and examples of how to properly document DNA confirmations, see DNA confirmation.
To get the best results, begin adding sourced profiles for your ancestors until you can connect to ancestors already in WikiTree. If you have exhausted what you know on one line, it can sometimes help to add what you know on another line. The more branches you are able to add the greater the likelihood of finding potential cousins to match with. The process of identifying which branch elements of DNA relate to will better enable you to find matches that relate to the particular branches you are researching.
Let me know if you have any questions,
Claire ~ WikiTree Greeter

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. You will want to read this After Adopting Orphans for information on the special attention those profiles need.
