A place to never stop learning, improving our research and uncovering the answers to the puzzle. Nothing makes you find the missing pieces or where you've got it wrong then writing it out in a full biography.

I'm always pleasently surprised when I find a person is here already, and even more so with how great the community is in "we don't own" motto.

Also working in IT with databases, crowd sourcing and search engine optimization I know that for the best cousin bait, locations and names need to be show up in the way Google will have them show up highest in the organic results, and how amazing it is that the team here achieved something encestry hasn't with their millions of dollars "this is likely a duplicate"

I did not set the profile up, I took over it because it had no profile Manager for it. Now I did a quick Profile of Louise Garatte and this is what I came up with.

Louise Lebeau (born Garatte) was born in 1630, at birth place, to Francoise Loret (born Lefroy). Francoise was born in 1625, in St Laurent, Paris, France. Louise had one sister: Etiennette LeBeau dit Lalouette (born Loret). Louise married Mathurin Lebeau in 1647, at age 17 at marriage place. Mathurin was born in 1625, in St Jean De Monts Les Sables Dolonne Lucon Poitou, France. They had one son: Jean LeBeau dit Lalouette. Louise passed away on month day 1675, at age 45 at death place.

You and I are 7th Cousins once removed. And I believe that I am also related to the two of them thru him.

I'm down to 69 at the moment, and still working to get everything sourced. Also, since you left that reminder I've become much more aware at what a problem unsourced profiles are on Wikitree, so I source random others I come across as well when it's convenient.

Thanks Dorothy for welcoming me, I'll try and help anyone researching Lelievre, Chenel, Duguay and even Pelletier. All these are mostly from France originally and now in the province of Quebec with some having moved to the U.S. for work at the end of the 1800s. I'll check back once in a while.
