Hi Greg: Thanks so much for adding more info to our Ditmars ancestors! I am working on that line presently so love the added info from you!

Donna (your very distant cousin)

Hi Donna. You’re very welcome.

I’m following all my ancestors, paternal and maternal, trying to trace them back at least 10 generations.

There are a lot of resources for Annapolis County, Nova Scotia and for New York in the time frame before the Ditmars immigrated to Nova Scotia, so I try to improve profiles or add new profiles when I can.

Hi Greg,

Thanks for taking responsibility for the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Debi

PS If the profile needs GEDCOM cleanup, the AGC tool can help with formatting so that you can concentrate on the research. You can read more about it in the WikiTree AGC FAQ.

Hi Cousin Greg, Thanks very much for the Grenville C. Mackenzie source. I’ve added it to Thomas Hunt.

Hi Greg.

The census entries on the two James Hall's from Wilmot are interesting but I don't see how they connect to my Halls. If they are on Wikitree please advise their Wiki numbers.

Thanks, Jim

There is some cleaning up to do before merging.

Bennett 2583 states he was born in Horton 2 years before he arrived there. Bennet 21705 has him born in Lyme CT. which is more likely. second marriage was to Rebecca Stevens

Hi Greg, thanks for the update on Owen Dodge (Dodge-4481). Do you have a source for his birthplace? I hadn't found one.

Thanks again, Barbara (Sweet-8) Schaad

Thanks for the bit on the Lumber Mills.

Lots of stuff on Sabins here. This is highly reputable. I might edit what I put on Wikitree.

Thanks for the info on Isaac and Obed White. I had Isaac and Sarah as his wife as parents without detail. I consider it a firm connection. Thank you.
