British Army
This category collects units of the British Army since the Acts of the Union in 1708. Prior to this date Army units are maintained under the Scots Army and the English Army.

Categorisation assistance British Army units are maintained under the Unit name. This and a brief history of the unit is maintained on wikipedia. Note that wikipedia is not the official source and some errors do exist. If the unit is not yet categorised then it is easily added through the categorisation procedure. If in doubt, ask Doug Straiton. It is a top level category and Profiles should not be attributed to it.
