Hello Teresa,

I see that you have altered the profile for Jane (Baldridge) Brownsford (1648-bef.1683) in a way that essentially refutes her surname is Baldridge. However, I don't see your source for making this alteration. Can you provide that source? Or else revert the changes? ~ Deb

Thank you for your contributions! Your research is beneficial to me. We are related in several ways—Estes, Tatum, Cox, to name a few.

Teresa Davis and Catherine (Taylor) Fussell are both descendants of Mary (Coleman) Cox (1700-1794). I appreciate your efforts.

Hi Teresa,

Sources are always welcome. There seems to be three North Carolina Resources pages.

1) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:US_Southern_Colonies_Province_of_North_Carolina_%281712-1776%29_Team which has Resources and sources listed there. This has this link for sources for US Southern Colonies Province of North Carolina (1712-1776)

2) This one is for North Carolina (US_history) https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:North_Carolina_Project_Resource_Page

and

3) The actual North Carolina Project https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:North_Carolina This page has the most sources, so I assume you are adding here. If you have any early enough for the Province of North Carolina Team page, please add.

Thanks

Thanks so much. I will try to add some reliable sources for everyone. I do have a question. Some of them predate 1712 but go past 1776. Do you want these? They have a lot in between.
posted by Teresa Davis
For US Southern Colonies Province of North Carolina the cut off date is 1776. If they predate 1712, just go ahead and add.

If dates are after 1776 before these two https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:North_Carolina https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:North_Carolina_Project_Resource_Page

can have any dates on the sources.

Hi Teresa,

Thanks for correcting the marriage location for Francis Armistead (1690-1719).

When filling in place names in the data fields of a profile, please use the name used by the people of the time, which in the case of Virginia we have standardized on Colony of Virginia per this page and google sheet. Also, it is helpful to specify County in the name when you know that since in some cases there is confusion between a township and county of the same name in Virginia.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks.

Hello, Teresa.

Could you please correct the LNAB on https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tucker-13315 ? Her LNAB and Current Last Name have been switched on her profile. Her LNAB should be Cralle. (Tucker is her Current Last Name.) I first posted a note about this over a year ago...

If you do not feel comfortable editing her LNAB, you can just accept my Trusted List request for the profile. and I will make the change. You can find your Trusted Listed requests at https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Special:InvitationPage&review=1

Hi Teresa,

You just attached Gower-451 as a child of Gower-527 and Hatcher-51. Gower-527 was dead by the time Gower-451 was born and didn't include him in the will. Gower-527 listed children and grandchildren in her will and didn't list an Abel. Do you have a quality source supporting this parent/child relationship? If not, I'd suggest detaching Gower-451 for now. Thanks. Kerry
