It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to ‘private w/ public biography & family tree’ to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see  How to DNA on WikiTree

We also encourage you to join our Google+ Community for DNA discussions, questions & new information.

You might want to set your Privacy to Private with Public Family Tree. The WikiTree programming needs to see your Family Tree tab to make DNA and other cousin connections for you. If you want to use the with DNA notation, you should use the Public Biography AND Family Tree so that the explanation of your triangulation method is publicly displayed.

Hey, Don. Did you know we are also related several ways through my dad's side of the family? You are related to me through both my paternal grandfather and my paternal grandmother, two separate and distinct lines.

If you want to find out how you're related to someone, go to their profile page. Click on the their ID (yours is Garrett-2232) at the top, right hand corner of the page, then scroll down and select 'Relationship to Me'. It will take you to a page that shows you your closest relationship to them. On the right side is a box where you can check other relationships.

The yDNA test our uncle took shows that our Garretts came from the Fertile Crescent many centuries ago. Kind of surprising.

Wow, Don! You have really been busy!!! When you add a new profile, if you'll include me on the trusted list, I'll be able to walk you through most any problems you encounter. If you come across any of the profiles I've created you need trusted status on, just let me know. :)

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.
