Biography

Nathaniel, born in Windham, Windham, CT on 18 Jan 1741, was the son of Paul & Martha (Dodge) Hebard/Hibbard. ^{[1] [2]} Nathaniel married Mary Abbe, daughter of Joshua & Mary (Ripley) Abbe, in Mar 1770 at Windham, CT.^{[3] [2]}

Together, they had at least the following children: Gurdon, Augustus, Oliver, Nathaniel II (also called Nathaniel Jr.) & Shubael Hebard/Hibbard. [Shall source this.]

Nathaniel (who, dependent on the record, has either or both his first and last names spelled in a variety of manners) died on 30 May 1803. ^[4]
