Hi Dave,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

You have my promise that I'll never import a Gedcom again! I'm so sorry,

Dave!

Hello from across Wikitree (I manage a 'few' Depew profiles myself, and if you'd like, please subscribe to the "Depew" family edits on here).

I also figured I'd invite you to join 'The Depew Family' facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/289645541197719/ that I (and a few others on here) manage.

I've been working since early 2014 to try to link the Depew/DePew name to anyone earlier than about 1700, and also to see who all the cousins/sons/daughters are (there were a couple early generations of 11 kids each, but I am only of -one- of those links).

I hope this comment finds you well, and look forward to hopefully hearing back from you soon!

Thanks for the badge, Dave. I don't know that I deserve it, but I will try to live up to it.

Do you have any primary source proof of a relationship between Geoffrey Norris and Ann Freeman to prove they are parents of John Norris of Anne Arundel Co? I would like to get many of these questionable relationships cleaned up. I believe much of this information is based on a published book that has very little source information for early Norris ancestors. Please see my comments on Norris-1193

Thanks Guy,

Although it kind of sucks since I entered over a thousand and only got a 100 badge! This isn't the first time the badge awarding system has done this too me so it's not a big surprise. Anyway, thanks!

Hi Dave,

Invite Jeff Glann to WikiTree to put in some of his family-I am betting after a few generations, I already have the rest of it in. My in-laws did a ton of research on all the Glanns in the US who were descended from the same Scottish ancestor in the 80's. Thanks! Abby

Dave, Just added you to Dutton Lane's trusted list. Also, just proposed a merge of my Lane-1458 & Francie Lane's lane-1334 which hopefully will correct my goof. You can then merge with the new lane-1334 which should be identical to lane-4614.

Don Lane, patriarch of Lane Family researchers would kick my butt for my goof.

Re: Lane-4614/Lane-1458 merge; thanks for catching an obvious goof by me. Siblings of Lane-1458 are incorrect & should be deleted. Lane-4614 & Lane- 1334 appear identical & can be a "step 1" merge;. "step2" could then merge Lane-1458 into the new Lane-1334 thereby deleting my incorrect siblings.

Does it look like that would work?

Hi, I'm David McNally and I have been interested in building my families genealogy for about two decades now. I have a goal of pushing all of my lines back across the ocean to their countries of origion and am always willing to share and help others do the same. I've managed to suceed in doing so with about 3/4's of my lines so far.
