Marion I Poole. Daughter of Douglas Poole Betty Brooks

JUL 1955–SEP 1955. Hampstead, London, England.[1] [2]

Marriage and Divorce

Marion married Gregory Wayne Knight 9 April 1983, at 158 Peachey Rd, Elizabeth Fields, South Australia.

They had one child, a son, in 1988.

They divorced 1997.

In 2009, just before my mother’s 80th birthday she brought up the wish to look up her family history. Together we managed to do some, but had limited access to internet. Sadly she never got to do much more. What with the illness and death of her husband (my step-father) followed by the re-occurrence and metastasizing of her cancer, it was abandoned. Four years ago she passed away and only now do I feel ready to pick it up again. I hope to do her proud and leave a legacy for my son.

Regarding the pending merge of John Webb. I had been in touch with another researcher who believes the John Webb whose wife is Ann Harrod is not the son of Richard and Mary but is the son of Robert Webb. I have not worked on his profile because I have not followed up with my own research. If you are 100% sure these are his parents, then I can approve the merge. I will try to find some time to look into these relationships.

I have many records on her, too many to post ..I have DNA matches to her on 3 different sites...I am the only living "Direct" female descendant that has tested as yet she was NOT a Thomas by Blood... I'm not sure what you are asking about Jester-160 and Jester-144. They aren't in for a merge. Someone did put in a duplicate Jacob earlier this year, infact they duplicated from Jester-165 on down but we got all that sorted.

Marion, Many thanks for the Merge details. We were only in the Orroroo area two weeks ago and I was telling the tale of Alfred Brooks, who was reputed to wander off into the bush on his own. It is harsh country and he apparently died of thirst, his body not being found for a month.
