Biography

He was awarded 2 land grants, one federal and one state in Columbia County, GA. H first served with Capt. John Brent of the 4th Virginia Regiment on foot. He was at Valley Forge with George Washington and was mustered out in 1783. He married Mary Jones 12020-1788 and had 5 sons.
