I love to be contacted by cousins, so please, feel free to contact me. Even if you are not a cousin, but have a question... or think we might be cousins, but you aren't sure... still, feel free to contact me.

I have a one-year-old and only work on wikitree periodically. I probably have more information about people on wikitree than I have posted. When putting things up, I tended to focus on direct ancestors and not full families - but I do have a lot of family information for many of my ancestors. If you have questions about a specific group, please contact me and I'll give you the information I have and work to update that specific section of this tree at my next opportunity.

If I am the manager of a profile and you would prefer to manage it, please let me know. I am more than willing to turn it over to you as long as I'm able to also be a part of most of them. Some of the people I manage aren't even related to me, so if you are related to them, I'll turn them over to you. I work/have worked with a few wikitree projects and don't always "abandon" the profiles.

Genealogical Projects

This Deliberate Life

I write about a few of my ancestors (or my husband's) on my personal blog, This Deliberate Life. These bios are generally written a little more personally than the bios I put up on wikitree, though in some cases, I write about solving puzzles that have arisen in my research.

Wikitree: "My" Family Tree

I joined in 2014 and "threw up" a bunch of ancestor's names (generally only my direct line), but didn't do my due diligence in sourcing them or writing biographies. I was only trying to make connections. Now, I know better... so I'm going through them, writing sourced biographies, and attaching their family members.

Wikitree: Oregon Cemeteries Project

Since February 2016, I have been a member of the Oregon Cemeteries Project, a sub-project of the United States Cemetery Project, which is a sub=project of the Global Cemeteries Project.

As a member of this project, I'm currently indexing two cemeteries in my area, Pacific Sunset Cemetery in Florence, Oregon and Yachats Memorial Park in Yachats, Oregon.

Note: I try to release every grave photo I attach to profiles, but for those I've missed, I give full free use.

Wikitree: Titanic Project

Since February 2016, I have been a member of the Titanic Project, where I am indexing the names of passengers, crew, and people associated with the ship/tragedy. I am also writing a few biographies along the way - and am currently working through the members of the orchestra, both writing biographies and connecting them to the main tree.

Ancestry DNA

I have recently submitted my DNA for testing. The results should be back soon.

My Brick Walls

If you are able to give me any missing information that may help me break through some of My Brick Walls, I would greatly appreciate it.

Luci Goodman was born in Japan in March, 1984. Her parents were missionaries with TEAM (The Evangelical Alliance Mission). When Luci was born, her parents were studying Japanese at a language school in a "resort" town.

When Luci was two years-old, she and her parents came to the United States on a Furlough. While there, Luci's parents had another son.

When Luci was four (and the son was 6 months old), they returned to Japan and lived in two different towns there. While in Japan, Luci's parents had two more children, both girls.

On April 5, 1994, Luci's family returned to America permanently. They lived in Wyoming, where Luci's parents had two more children, both boys. She became interested in Family History shortly after that and proceeded to ask a lot of questions.

Luci graduated from high school on May 25, 2002 (the day after her maternal grandmother died). At the graduation, she was scheduled to sing "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me... it was very difficult for her to do in light of her grandmother's death.

Luci went to a college in Montana.

In 2007, she met Noah Goodman at a "board game night." A year and a half later, they began to date and they were married in May, 2011. Shortly after their wedding, they moved to the Oregon Coast.

In 2015, they had a son.

Hi Luci,

We’ve made some exciting changes to the Global Cemeteries Project. The sub-projects have been merged into the Global Project to help with Leadership and to facilitate collaboration.

Some roles within the project have changed. From now on, there are Project Coordinators for each continent, and one for Welcome and Integration, plus Team Leaders for each individual Country etc.

Please let me know if you’d like to stay on in the new project, if you’d like to continue in an existing role, and which team(s) you’d like to be on. Please also give me your e-mail address so that I can get you added to the project’s Google Group.

Many thanks,

Leader, Global Cemeteries

Hi Luci,

My great uncle, Charlie Turvey (, died on the Titanic. He was an employee of the restaurant, so not technically part of the crew.

I'd like to add his to the list on your project page. Where should he go please?

Many thanks
