. My personal ancestry interests are primarily in Pennsylvania Dutch / Quaker lines and Eastern Siouan speaking Nations; Catawba, Tutelo and Saponi. I like hearing from new cousins and helping others research their ancestry and break genealogy brick-walls with DNA.

I have nominated your photo of Rebecca Figel and JC Potter for Family History Photo of the Week. Here is a link to the photo on the G2G Forum: http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/209421/shared-photo-rebecca-figel-and-jc-potter-center.
Please feel free to post a comment about the photo.
Welcome to WikiTree!

The Name in the official URL is Tribe, though the Name on the sub-projects list is Nation. This is to follow the naming guidelines of the Nationally recognized "tribes" as well as the naming conventions of the Catawba Nation.

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!
Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Let me know.
I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.

Thank you for signing the Honor code. Collaboration, accurate information and good sources are the basis for a great WikiTree.
By signing the Honor Code you're telling others you are a responsible Wiki genealogist.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
Have a nice journey on Wikitree,

I notice you have the GEDCOM badge. Check out this page for information about the GEDCompare process. If you have any brick walls, collaboration might help bust through. Because WikiTree has only one profile for each person, the further back you go in your ancestry, the more likely cousins will find you and help out. ANY Wiki Genealogist can edit "Open" profiles (over 200 years old= open). There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: brickwall.
WikiTrees help pages give lots of information about the process. Before you import a GEDCOM is a good place to start.
Cheers, Liz
