12 Aug 2019QUEBECOIS: I am descended through my maternal grandmother from many of the original settlers of Québec, soldiers of the Carignan-Salières Regiment, and Filled du Roy and wish to document my lineage and help clear up conflicting trees. GERMANY: Two of my grandparents were immigrants from the Rheinland-Palatinate (I am interested in that sub-group also) and one from the Prussian province of Posen. I have many relatives who are very interested in my research into their ancestry. DNA: I have taken most of the DNA tests on the market now and would find it fascinating to tie DNA evidence in with documentary evidence to validate ancestral trees.[Thank Mark for this]
