Stien Gret was born in 1771 as illegitimate daughter of Christoph Willwahter and Anna Greth Schwarten(s), who the baptism record from Hohenkirchen labels as tramps (Landstreicher).[1][2]
On 31 October 1794 she married Johann Jochen Tretow, craftsman from Gutow (currently: Damshagen).[3] Between 1797 and 1811 they had at least seven children.[4]
Her husband passed away on 17 April 1829.[4] She had survived him by almost 29 years, when she passed away in Klütz on 11 May 1858.[5][6]
Research notes
Indexed baptism record at FamilySearch name her either Willwahter[1] or Willstatter,[7] which both seem to be either exotic spellings or wrong transcriptions.
Death record has the birth 10 years off, but identification is easy since parents and husband are stated.[5]
