Hi Chris

It has been a couple of weeks since we contacted you about your participation in the Louisiana Families Project and as we haven't heard from you, we are following up to make sure you wish to remain a member.

We understand that interests shift as we grow our shared tree and that some members may have moved on to projects more pertinent to the branches they are currently building. If this is the case for you, please let us know.

If we do not hear back from you within the week, we will assume you have moved on to other things for the moment and remove you from the project. Please know that you will always be welcome to rejoin should your interests shift back in this direction.

Thank you so much for your participation; we genuinely appreciate it.

Karen ~ Volunteer Coordinator

Hi Christopher

On behalf of the Louisiana Families Project, we are doing a periodic check-in with members. Please review the project page [1], and if you feel you are able and would like to contribute to the project in the upcoming months, please let me know by commenting on my profile or sending a private message. If you have other obligations or interests at the moment and would like to be removed from the project at this time, you will always be welcome to rejoin if you find yourself with more time and interest later.

All of us at WikiTree would like to thank you for your contributions and hope that you are enjoying exploring your roots.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi Christopher,

You will want to switch your "french_roots" followed tag to "france". Please check this out: https://www.wikitree.com/g2g/846021/french-roots-becomes-the-france-project

Isabelle

Hi Christopher,

Thanks for your interest in the French Roots project. Could you please take a look at the Project page and the Regions Team page and see with which region(s) you would like to help. (the space is not updated with names yet but we do have several of our great members working on Antilles profiles). Then please get back to me and I'll invite you to our Google discussion group and award your badge. If you have any questions, please ask!

Isabelle - French Roots project leader

Hi Christopher,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the Louisiana Families and US History Projects.

Welcome to the United States History Project. Be sure to check out the project page to see some of what we do, our maintenance categories, which include ways you can help out, and please add the us_history tag to your G2G feed. Thanks for joining us!

Hi Christopher,

We've made a change in how the tutorials are sent to new members. Instead of weekly messages you can now work at your own pace.

How is it going so far? Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions?

We want to help! Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

PS Sometimes links don't work in emails. You can always find a link that works in the public comments on your profile.

So I guess we're cousins if we're both descended from the Duchamps :) I added you to the trusted list for Stephanie and her son per your request.

pps - never mind the ps. I forgot that I had changed the Google Group so that folks could request to be added. I just approved you, so you should be all set. Thanks for joining!

P.S. Please send me a private message so that I can send you an invitation to the project's Google Group (that will give me your e-mail address, which I need in order to send the invite). The Google Group is tied to the project account, which follows several tags, but some members also follow Louisiana and Louisiana_Families under their own WikiTree ID.

If you haven't found it already, you might be interested in Category: St. Martinville, Louisiana. If you were interested in adopting St. Martin Parish, check out this page of the One Place Studies project (of something to think about for the future).

Cheers, Liz
