This is the sod house of my g-g-grandmother Martha Jane (Cale) Maulsby in Mutual, Oklahoma Territory. The house was built by her children on her land which was acquired through the Cherokee Outlet Land Run of 1893. Martha Jane is seated and directly behind her are my great grandmother Cora (Maulsby) Prophet and my great grandfather James Clinton Prophet.

I originally found this photo of my great grandparents and g-g-grandmother Martha Jane Maulsby in a book from the 1970's. I tracked down the wife of the author of the article (now passed away) and was sent this photo for use.
