John Wallace Campbell and Clarinda Rhodes had nine daughters and four sons. In his Civil War pension application, he wrote: Thirteen children, all living, nine girls and four boys: Nora R. b,11 Dec 1864, Lillian M., b.3 Sept. 1866, Amy R., b.1 Jan. 1868, Edgar B., b.11 Apr. 1869, Annie L., b.2 Feb. 1871, Martha E., b.3 Oct. 1872, Roy A., b.27 Feb. 1874, Guy S., 3 Oct. 1875, Myrtle L., b.5 Apr 1878, Estie R. b.5 June 1881, John F., b.28 Jan., 1882, Gracie E., b.14 Oct. 1885, Nelvah Blanch b.6 Oct 1886. (He added “Over” then on back “if you want middle name in full, send me a larger blank.”) He dated the reply 30 March 1898.
