Jackie (Barnes) King
The Inverness Farm was at 1200 block of N. College. Jesse Harris, owner, was well known for his registered breeds of horses, which were: Clydesdales, English Shires, English Hackney's among others. Jesse Harris died on November 8, 1919, at the age of 70. A barn from the original farm remains behind the Jax Surplus store, located at the original location of the Inverness Farm.
