I found the 5" x 7" negative for this photo in my father's black and white photo collection after he died. I think he said that he and his brother Tom owned the camera together, so I assume that my father took the photo, since he had the negative. They lived in Peshastin, WA, near the Wenatchee River, and the Great Northern RR tracks ran from Wenatchee to Leavenworth before heading over the Cascade Mountains. I sent a copy to the Wenatchee Area Genealogy Society, but no one appeared to know anything about it. My father and Tom took flying lessons in Ellensburg, so it is possible that the photo was taken there.
