Even though "Old Dorothy" never claimed to be witch, was a practicing Anglican Christian, she spent enough time with Gerald Gardner for him to insinuate her involvement with his New Forest coven. She wrote many lovely pagan poetry in her diaries. While she may not have been directly involved with witchcraft, she may have influenced Gardner's new religion. We might even say the "Muse" of wicca.
