I created this file to show that Judith, wife of Wm (W1) could not have been part of the Bolling family

There is nothing here in the post or picture.
It is a PDF file -odd that it doesn't show for you (it did open for me). Below are the contents

Discussion of Judith Unknown, wife of William DePriest b. 1689 (W1) Created by Lynn Busby 6/6/2020 The Bolling family was a member of the “Gentry Class of Virginia” who viewed marriage as partnerships to keep their wealth “in the family” and maintain the ENGLISH Gentry class of Virginia. (Gentry loosely defined as owning over 500 acres and not getting their hands dirty working it.) The Bolling family married families of Randolph ($$$), Fleming ($$$), Wynn, Kennon (Col), Miller (Gent), Gay, Bland, Lewis and other gentry in the early 18th century. I found no record of any Bolling marrying someone who was not in the Gentry class. Clearly Wm DePriest, though not poor, did not run in the same social circles. William DePriest b. 1769 to Robert DePriest, a FRENCH Huguenot with 350 acres in New Kent County. It is very likely that the family spoke French as their first language and Robert and sons were involved in working the land – thus considered part of the “planter” class of Virginians. Parishes People of the time tended to associate with others in their own parish. John Bolling is in the records of the Bristol Parish Wm DePriest is in the records of St. Peter’s Church (New Kent County) showing he was born in 1689. I search both Parishes around the time of 1700 to find a possible “Judith” born around 1700 who Wm would later marry. I found NO Judith Bolling born in either parish. The Gentry kept track of their family births and marriages closely to monitor their wealth. I found other daughters of John Bolling and who they married, but no mention of a Judith Bolling. In St. Peter’s Parish I found several Judith’s that could have become Wm’s wife. It is very likely that Wm married someone from his own parish. Because of the French connection, I believe is it most likely that he married someone from the Huguenot community. There were a couple of possibilities: Huguenot families in the St. Peter’s Parish of New Kent County c. 1700 Judith Daughter of M”^ Geo. Poindexter born ye 14 Jany, & baptized ye 8 Jany., 1705. 6 years younger (not unusual for Colonial Virginia per history book “Albion’s Seed” by Kenneth Hacker Fischer). This book indicates that in Viriginia is was not unusual for a husband to be 10-12 years older than his wife. I had settled on Judith Reynolds because of the closenss of their ages, but given this new information, it is more likely that W1 married Judith Pointdexter. . Not likely because Pointdexter was also part of the Gentry, owning 1490 acres Pendexter [*Poindexter], Geo. Huguenot- 1490 Mr. Poindexter th Geo.B.PoindexterwasmarriedtoFrancesLightfootJuly17 ,1760. Reynold / Ronalle / Renall = French Reynolds is a surname in the English language. There are two major lineages of the surname, ... It was also a surname of Irish Huguenots who came to Ireland from France to evade religious persecution in the 1600s. This most interesting and ancient surname, with variant spellings ranging from Reynalds, Rennnolds, and Renals, to Rennels, Runnalls, and Reynoldson, is considered English, but with Norse-Norman antecedents.

Little is known of this Thomas Reynolds, beyond the fact that he had moved to New Kent County by 1671 (York County Deeds, Orders, Wills, Book 4, p162) and was granted 252 acres on the north side of Black Creek on 25 Oct 1695, as indicated by Virginia 1 Will sone of Thomas Renall & Mary his wife baptized ye 5 day of Decem*”, 1686. The surname of Judith, the wife of W1, remains unknown but I feel certain it was not Bolling. I lean toward the surname Reynolds but Unknown is more appropriate. https://www.ancestry.com/interactive/7469/StPeters-VA- 0355/1194?backurl=&ssrc=&backlabel=Return&rc=407,884,518,929&queryId=da30f272632482 6a337a59706c36928f
