This document explains that Jonathan was not born to first wife (alls we have on her is she died in Newbury 1638 said Goodwife Singletary died, there is no name and there was no other Singletary family in records I have read many). Then Richard Married Susannah Cooke but before the marriage records or we do not know which town then they had Jonathan in Salisbury which is birth is recorded. His wife's estate says these are his parents and the Donham-Dunham issue is Richard's son Jonathan and his children but only his side used an Alias commented about also in estate where the name came from is not yet known.
