Biography

Based on information in their marriage records and their children's baptismal records, Madeleine Évard or Enard was the sister of Jeanne Évard who married Julien Crevier's cousin, Christophe Crevier.^{[1] [2] [3] [4]}. The language of Julian's and Madeleine's marriage record also makes it clear that Madeleine and Jeanne had a brother named Robert who was present at Madeleine's wedding.^{[1] [3]} Based on the language of Jeanne Évard's marriage record, the father of these three siblings was also named Robert Évard or Enard.^[4]

The only dates available for estimating birth date are the marriage dates of the two sisters and the fact that the younger sister Jeanne was 14 when she married in November of 1633.
