Vladimir Vladimirovich Vasyutin (Влaдимиp Bлaдимиpoвич Васютин) born March 8, 1952, Kharkiv, Kharkiv Oblast, Ukrainian SSR, died July 19, 2002 and was a Soviet cosmonaut. He was selected as a cosmonaut on December 1, 1978 (TsPK-6). He retired on February 25, 1986.[1]
He was married to Galina A. Kartashova and had two children, Yelena V. born 18 Oct 1977 and Valeriya V. born 31 Oct 1985.[2]
He died of cancer and is buried in Novodevichy Cemetery, Moscow, Russia.[3]
