Biography
Олег Святославич was born about 955, , the son of Сватослав Игоревич and unknown mother. His exact date of birth is unknown but he is thought to have been about 20 years old when he was killed.
He was Prince of the Drevlyans. from 970-977.
He died in a war with his brother Ярополк. The cause of the war with Yaropolk was the death of Lyut Svenheld the son of one of Yaropolk's advisers, who was found hunting on Oleg's land[1]
Oleg's death was supposedly caused by him falling from a bridge during the conflict and he died as a result of his injuries.
Not a lot is known about Oleg, his mother is unknown although some sources say her name was Predslava. Some Czech histories say that he married and had a son Oleg Moravsky but this is unproven
