Biography
Mir (اسف جھا) Asaf Jah GCSI GBE is Notable.
میر was born in 1886. He was the last in the line of Nizams to rule the large Hyderabad state in Southern India. When the British withdrew from India, he tried to make his state independent, but was crushed by the forces of the Indian Republic in September 1948. He passed away in 1967.
