Nathan, was born in 1725 and passed away on 24 Dec 1802.[1]
Nathan's original father was listed as Ebenezer Barnes Jr. with no associated mother. According to FamilySearch, a Nathan Barnes (1725-1802), married to Mary (Sandford) Barnes is the son of James Barnes (1701-1759) and Elizabeth Laughton (1700-1771).[3] However, there are no birth sources for Nathan connected to either parent and no birth record for his profile. Furthermore, the children of James and Elizabeth were all born in Killingly, Hartford, Connecticut. Nathan is listed as "of Southington, Hartford, Connecticut'.[4] It is doubtful Nathan's father was James.
Ebenezer Barnes Jr.[5] does not have a son named Nathan on his profile at FamilySearch. However, The Barnes Family Yearbook, Vol. I, pg. 13 shows Ebenezer Barnes (died 12 Dec 1781 as the father of Ebenezer, Daniel and Nathan.[6] Ebenezer Barnes Jr. will be kept as the father.
Nathan is listed in The Barnes family year book - v. 2 (1908) on page 6.[7]
