Biography

Margaretta was born bet FEB 1677 - 1678 in Flatlands, Kings Co, NY. She was the daughter of Roelof Martense Schenck and Annetje Pieterse (Wyckoff) Schenck.[1]

Margaretta was baptized on 16 January 1678. She was the daughter of Roelof Martense Schenck and Annetje Pieterse (Wyckoff) Schenck.[2]

When Margaretta was 22 she married Cornelius Williamse Couwenhoven on 8 September 1700 in New Jersey. The couple had one child: Saartje Cowenhoven.[3][4][1]

Margaretta died at the age of 73 on 16 December 1751 in Pleasant Valley, Monmouth Co, NJ.[3][4][1]

Margaretta was buried after 16 December 1751 in Schenck-Couwenhoven Cemetery, Pleasant Valley, Monmouth, New Jersey.[5]
