Thomas B. Benbow was born in January 2, 1762 in Carvers Creek Township, Bladen, North Carolina, United States.

At the time of his Birth, his father, Charles Benbow, was 57 and his mother, Mary Anne Carver, was 42.

Thomas Married Hannah Ann Stanley in 1786. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters.

He Passed Away on February 2, 1825, in Guilford College, Guilford, North Carolina, and was buried in Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, Guilford, North Carolina, United States.


Thomas and his brother Benjamin traveled to New Bern after their father's death in order to claim two land warrants which had been in their father's name. [1]
