Biography

Richard Cleaver's birth year is estimated. He was living in Hillmorton, Warwickshire, at the time of his marriage.

The parish records in Hillmorton noted that Richard Cleaver and Elizabeth Collins both of Hillmorton were married at Newbold upon Avon on 7 Feb 1729.[1] The marriage was also recorded in the Newbold on Avon registers.[2]

Only one child is found baptised to them in Hillmorton:

  • Richard Cleaver was born on 17 Jul 1733.[3]

It is uncertain when Richard died, but he passed away before November 1748 when his wife remarried. Possible burials are in the research notes.
