Biography

Jan Stevens is geboren in Overijssel in 1801

Jan was born at Stevens te Egede on 27 March 1801 and baptized in Den Ham on 29 March 1801. He was the son of Gerrit Jan Gerrits and Geertje Gerrits. ^[1]

Aged 27, he married Hendrina Slaat in Hellendoorn on 2 May 1828. ^[2], ^[3]
