- Wicher Siebes was born on November 4, 1800 in Sintjohannesga, Friesland. he was baptized on November 16, 1800 in the reformed congregation of Sintjohannesga, Delfstrahuizen, Rohel and Rotsterhaule, son of Siebe Rinkes and Geesjen Wichers Smit. [1]
- He married, first, Lijsbert Annes, the daughter of Anne Jans Voolstra and Antje Hendriks, on October 20, 1825, in Opsterland, Friesland, Netherlands.[2] She died on May 19, 1836, in Opsterland, Friesland, Netherlands.[3]
- He married, second, Jantje Hendriks de Vries, the daughter of Hendrik Elias de Vries and Jantje Willems Smit, on November 27, 1837, in Opsterland, Friesland, Netherlands.[4]
- He died on November 26, 1858 in Langezwaag, Friesland, Nederland
