Aaltjen te Grotenhuis was born on 30 Jun 1800 in Gendringen, Netherlands. Daughter of Berend Jan Hendrik te Grotenhuis and Hendrikka Bartmans, landbouwerse.

Aaltjen married Arend Brussen on 5 May 1820 in Gendringen.[1]

Their children were:

Aaltjen died on 14 May 1865 in Breedenbroek aged 64. [2]
