This profile may contain elements from a real person, but since most of the data and especially the biography are so far off from the real record, it can't be considered to represent the same person.
The will with mention of 196 black slaves in 17th C Bedfordshire, is not reflective of English History, nor is the will in the format, normal for wills of this period .
The parish church in Souldrop is and was All Saints. Google doesn't find a saint called St Gibbing. Souldrop, only amounts to 1075 acres, there is no Goodman mentioned as owning the Manor. http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/beds/vol3/pp94-95#h3-0003.
Kibworth where his father lived is also small 1,312 acres and again land ownership is well documented http://www.british-history.ac.uk/vch/leics/vol5/pp167-187 and indeed, a recent book https://www.penguin.co.uk/books/178582/the-story-of-england/ focuses on the history of this village from earliest times. There is no mention of this man or his family.
