Biography

She is the daughter of Thomas de La Hay of Lockarwart and Agnes Dowglas. ^[1]

Research Notes

Both Balfour Paul^[2] and Cokayne^[3] confirm that Thomas had a son William. While Balfour Paul suggests the possibility of a second son, Gilbert (albeit unlikely), and Cokayne mentions a possible daughter, Alice, neither reference Lucia, Phillippa, Janet, or Unknown as issue of Thomas Hay of Locherworth. They have thus been detached as his children.
