Biography

Andrew (Cranstoun) de Cranstoun is a member of Clan Cranstoun.

The Cranstoun family had been established in the area of that name near the river Tyne in the eastern district of Midlothian. Individuals using that surname can be seen in 1170 and later.[1]

He had issue:

  1. Ralph.[1]

Andrew was dead before 1338.[1]

Research Notes

Given his death before 1338 and given that he had at least one child, it is certain that he married before that death and given that he would have been at least 14, he must have been born before 1324 (possibly decades before).
