Edward Roberts was born May 1687 in Merionethshire Wales. He came to Pennsylvanina in 1699 and settled in Byberry. In 1714 he married Mary Bolton (daughter of Evarard Bolton). In 1816 he moved his family to Byberry where he became an extensive landholder. He was a minister among the Friends for many years and died on his Richland farm.[1]
