William was the child of Daniel Dingwall and Margaret Robb. His birth was registered in 1890 in the St Andrew (Edinburgh) district.[1]
He was 5 months old at the time of the census of 1891 [2]
In the 1901 census William (age 10), Scholar, was the son of Daniel Dingwall at 2 Thistle Place, Edinburgh St Michael, Midlothian.[3]

Did not find anything on Scotland's Family or Family Search but there are many pages of Wm Dingwall.
I found 2 census and found possible death in Morningside in 1839 aged 48 in SP index - then found birth in Edinburgh so have changed from Aberdeen. Liz
