Hi,

The Germany Project Leaders are doing their semi-annual check-in with all project members and we want to verify that you’re still interested in being a member of the Project. Please respond by private message and let me know.

REMINDERS: (1) We use Google Groups for project collaboration and you aren’t yet a member of the group, please submit a join request here (make sure to add your name/WikiTree ID to the request). (2) add GERMANY to your followed G2G tags so you don't miss any discussions in G2G (see: Help:Tags#How_to_follow_tags Help:Tags).

Are you currently working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? If not, take a look at our main Project page for a full list. We recently launched a new Profile Improvement Team and are seeking new team members. Let me know if you’re interested.

We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions, please ask. We would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project.

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

How do I reply by private message? Nor have I ever used Google groups. FWIW, I'm not interested in Germany generally, but I am specifically interested in the region around Calw.
I'll take you off the member list. Where is CALW?

Hi Coleen,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified.

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many decendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the GERMANY Project.

Hello Coleen!

You've been a member for a few weeks so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

Congratulations on getting your profiles merged, Coleen! I hope you discover as much about your family as I have about mine over the last several years.

Check out the New Member How-to pages for some quick tips on working with both the Wiki pages and our other members. There is some great information in those pages.

If you have questions about how WikiTree works, let me know and I will find answers. Just click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Debi ~ WikiGreeter

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.

McConnell-1904 and McConnell-2233 appear to represent the same person because: they are ME!
Hi ,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Guy ~ WikiTree Mentor

Thank you for volunteering,

You're now a member of the WikiTree Community.

Please note we're trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means ONE profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.

If you'd like any help, see the help section from the menu, top right, or visit the G2G forum. You might want to check out this 5-minute introductory video a member created.

Our Mentor Team is a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you.Thank you for helping to build our shared tree!

Lots of overlap between my tree and Kevin Miller's. (Hi, Kevin.) Workman/McConnell, George Hall descendants from near Ottawa. Waddells from Berwickshire to Canada. Slessors from Aberdeenshire. Wolpoldts & Wocheles from Calw, Germany. Moreys & Ketts from Norfolk & Suffolk. Also track my husband's Danish relatives, the Scribner family, and his Davisons.
Hello,

Welcome as a guest to WikiTree!

We're collaborating together to build a World Wide Family Tree.

Feel free to ask a Question at our G2G Forum.

Our help pages in the menu at the top right have very useful information.

Want to join us? Check the Volunteer Box and leave a message here on your profile saying that you would like to add your family and ancestors. - Gilly
