I'm a retired software architect / developer interested in computing, history, travel, and genealogy.[1]
Here's an interesting toy that will either spur you to ever greater genealogical achievements or drive you to the liquor cabinet:

Just click on the link, type in your WikiTree ID (e.g. Boulet-169), click the "Submit" button and wait for the list of where your genealogical past meets the fog of history (finding the tips of your roots takes time (in other words, the webpage is a bit slow (meaning patience is a virtue (really)))).
Here's a chart that I have often found useful: https://www.wikitree.com/photo/jpg/Boulet-169-1
I, Daniel, noticed this here today (2018-11-14). I don't know what it is so I'm making it visible by turning the left and right curly braces into descriptive words:

thanks ever so much for posting images for Eleanore (Lacharite) Bolduc and others. I am helping a family find their roots. Most appreciated.

Just checking to see how you're doing? It's so wonderful to see your well sourced profiles.
It's my feeling that you are fine now and no longer need my mentoring, so if it's OK with you, I'm going to remove you from my Mentorees :)
Any news on the mysterious Lena?

To Follow up on your message, no need to fret about your Notables you created already. There aren't too many rules about them in place, aside from making sure to use certain privacy settings, and that's easy to change. If ever in doubt, use our G2G forum to ask for guidance by tagging your post with "notables" and there'll be plenty of us on hand to help! Thanks for improving our shared family tree!
