I'm a retired software architect / developer interested in computing, history, travel, and genealogy.^[1]

For various reasons, the amount of time that I spend working on the WikiTree site dropped pretty dramatically a couple of years ago. That said, I do continue to make minor edits and such here and there. I'm hoping to get back into the game although I'm not really sure when (maybe later this year).

Not sure how I missed this note when it was sent over a year ago. Sorry.

As my mother was a Caouette that is certainly the preferred . There have been other phonetic spellings used by French Canadian relatives that could not write eg cowett. Exactly as it is pronounced!
