Richard Clemments and Mary Young were married after banns at St Giles, Oxford, Oxfordshire on 15th October 1804[1]. They were both sojourners in the parish. Neither could write so they both made their mark on the register with a cross and the witnesses to the marriage were William Trafford and Martha Godfrey.
