In the 1911 census Dundonald was the single son of Henry Smith and Mary (age 33), in Ontario North Sub-Districts 1-42, Ontario, Canada. He now had a younger brother Reginald C Smith (age 9).[3]
He passed away in 1956. Donald Smith was mentioned on a memorial in Uxbridge Cemetery, Uxbridge, Durham Regional Municipality, Ontario, Canada with a death date of 1956.[4]
