Thank you for adding your DNA Test to your profile on WikiTree. Getting Started with DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
DNA at WikiTree provides a visual way for you to find others who have tested and have the potential of having common ancestors. It normally takes 24 hours from adding a test, or adding a new ancestor, or ancestor’s descendant, for WikiTree to display your name and test results on your ancestors and their descendants’ profiles for potential cousins to compare results with.
Have fun!

I havent heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you dont wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.
Many thanks for all your contributions,
Susie :-)
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
Many thanks,
Susie
Thanks for leaving a message. I'm working on getting the page set up, but in the meantime, you can add this category to your Gilpin profiles that you want included in the study
I'll sort them out from there. You can also go through any Gilpin profiles that are in the study and make improvements. Some need sources, some need GEDCOM cleanups, and some need Biographies written.
Once I have the study organized and ready to work on, the information will be added to the page.
It looks like you have some merges that need approval, if you need help, please ask.
Your study set up looks great. I added a redirect which allows it to be seen on the list of name studies. Happy Hunting!
Regards,
Doug
Thank you for your interest in One Name Studies. The FAQ section on the ONS project page should answer most of your questions. You may have more than one study, if desired.
Regards,
Doug
I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!
Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?
Let me know. I can help you figure out if there's a project and introduce you to the project leaders.
