Biography
Very little concrete is known about the Mi'kmaq Joe family that eventually settled in Bay of Islands, Newfoundland. But, several online family trees claim that the father of Thomas Joe, who moved to Newfoundland, was named Peter[1]. Assuming Thomas was born about 1760, Peter would have been born, very approximately, about 1730.
